Who we are
This website is run by Ryan McIntyre trading as AbstractPosterCo (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information described here. Questions about your data: message us on Etsy.
What we collect and why
- When you order a print: your name, delivery address, email and phone number, and what you bought. We use these to make, deliver and support your order, and keep order records for accounting. Legal basis: to perform our contract with you, and our legal obligations.
- Payments: card payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up. We use it to send news and offers, and you can unsubscribe at any time from any email. Legal basis: your consent.
- Messages: anything you send us when you get in touch, so we can reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
- Analytics: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used (pages viewed, rough location, device type). Legal basis: your consent.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us run the shop, and only what each needs:
- our print and delivery partners, who print, frame and post your order;
- our payment provider, to take payment;
- MailerLite, which sends our newsletter;
- Google, for analytics (only with your consent);
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
Some of these companies are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by the UK's approved safeguards, such as the UK–US data bridge or standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order records: 6 years, as tax law requires. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Messages: up to 2 years. Analytics data: 14 months.
